It’s Complicated (2009)
Jane is the mother of three grown kids in her fifties who owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has been divorced from her ex-husband Jake for ten years now. While visiting New York for their son’s college graduation, Jane and Jake hook up and become lovers again. The problem is that Jake is married to a much younger woman Agnes. In this way Jane becomes the other woman which troubles her immensely. Meanwhile, Jane has hired an architect named Adam to renovate her house, and the quiet, unassuming divorcee clearly has a crush on her. Obviously confused, Jane gets torn between her ex husband and her new male friend. The question arises; will she end up with her ex or will she go with Adam instead?
